Here's where the metaphor rings so true --- "parang pinagbiyak na bunga!"

 

My lovely sister-in-law, Ate Gee, with her very adorable daughter, Guia Belle as she fondly calls her.  You can literally see a younger version of the Mom, from the Japanese eyes to the kissable lips --- it's so cute! 

 

It's amazing how you can see the resemblance between parents and their kids.  Not only on physical looks, but also on the personality traits being handed down as well.  Granted that each one still has their own uniqueness, of course, you can't help but see the similarities too and be amused at how things work wonders! 

 

I won't go into details of trying to explain how it happens, but I simply find it endearing how families are molded together either by genetics, experiences, life, everything *grins*
